Sweety Shetty (born November 7, 1981), known by his stage name Anushka Shetty, is an Indian actress, who works mainly in Tamil Telugu film industries.
Born in Mangalore, Anushka started her career as a Yoga teacher. It was while teaching yoga, she received an offer to act in films. Thus, her acting debut through the Telugu movie 2005 Super. She continued to play in a number of Telugu films like Vikramarkudu (2006), Arundhati (2009) and Vedam (2010). After starring in a number of big budget productions, has become one of the leading actresses in Telugu cinema.
